Super Science Saturday

What is Super Science Saturday?

Super Science Saturday is an all day, once-a-month event for students in K-3rd and 4- 7th grades. Each month, we explore a new topic through hands-on activities and take-home projects. The day is filled with awesome learning opportunities that give every participant a full dose of that month's topic. Children 4 and under are welcome to stay but must be accompanied by an adult at all times. If you want an inexpensive, full day of learning and fun, this is definitely it!

Super Science Saturdays are considered Special Events; they are not included in any discount pricing except with membership. Every participant must be registered prior to the event date. The price is $18 per participant for non-members and $12 per participant for Akron Fossils & Science Center members. If your child is staying all day, please bring a packed lunch to be eaten during our supervised lunch break. We do offer a small selection of snacks and drinks for sale, but we do not provide any food.

If, for some reason, Super Science Saturday needs to be cancelled for the day, a notice will be posted on the museum's website, Facebook page, and at the front desk. Sign-in begins at 10:15. Please do not plan to drop off your child earlier than 10:15.

Groups can participate in Super Science Saturdays; however, a group leader must call or email info@akronfossils.org at least one month in advance to secure enough spots.
