Canoe Creation Adventure Trips
AFSC has partnered with Canoe Creation, an orginization that provides Creator-centered science education and outdoor adventure activities in the Ohio Valley river setting. We will be offering a one day rappelling trip in Hocking Hills, Ohio and a one day canoe trip on the Upper Muskingum River. We have found that by teaming up with other great organizations, we can broaded our areas of interest, offer a wider range of adventure trips and expereinces and connect with other communities that already have highly trained and skilled staff in place. Canoe Day Float
The Canoe Creation River School Day Float is for the nature enthusiast that is serious about learning about the wonders of nature and how it reflects the Creator. Akron Fossils is excited to team up with Canoe Creation to offer a Canoe Day Float on July 29th. Canoe Creation's River School day floats are single day events designed for ages 12 to 20 (parents can participate too!) who want to spend a day on the Upper Maskingum River exploring a focused topic of creation studies. There is a maximum of 15 participants, so secure your spot today! Deadline to sign up is July 8th.

Rappelling Day Trip
Do you like the idea of hiking to beautiful hidden places? Have you ever wanted to climb so high that you would need a little help getting down? Then rappelling just might be for you. Descend cliffs from the training boulder to the 120 foot waterfall. Join Akron Fossils and Canoe Creation for a thrilling Rappelling Day Trip adventure in Hocking Hills led by well trained staffed with years of experience! Learn about wildlife and geology and challenge yourself physically as you strengthen your faith and trust on the cliffs and rocks. Space is limited, so don't delay! Deadline to sign up is July 15th.
