UPDATED June 16th, 2020
Akron Fossils & Science Center is NOW open!
What are we doing to keep staff and guests safe?
The health and safety of our guests and staff is of the highest priority to us. In an effort to ensure everyone is able to have a safe and enjoyable experience, Akron Fossils & Science Center has taken the following steps:
Installation of the iWave Air Purifier system throughout our facility, which uses ions to reduce pathogens, allergens, particles, smoke and odors in the air, creating a healthy environment without producing any harmful by-products.
Frequent disinfecting of high-contact surfaces
Frequent hand washing
Hand sanitizer placed throughout the building
Regular health checks for employees
Employees required to stay home if not feeling well
Employees, volunteers, and visitors will have daily temperature checks
These efforts continue to be a work in progress. As we receive updates from our state and health organizations, we will continue to develop and update this list to ensure all employees and guests are kept safe and healthy.
Please pray for our nation, the world, all the selfless frontline workers and especially all of those impacted by the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
Thank you,
Akron Fossils & Science Center
