Step Right Up for A Night of Family FUNdraising!
We’re thrilled to announce something extra special this year: our Annual Carnival and Silent Auction are joining forces for one big night of family fun and fundraising! We’re bringing our silent auction back in person, and we’re combining it with our annual carnival for an evening filled with food, fun, games, animals, prizes, and lots of great auction finds!

Silent Auction — Back in Person!
After six years, we’re excited to bring everyone together in person for our silent auction again! And the best part? There is no admission fee to participate in the silent auction. Come browse, bid, and find some amazing items and baskets! And stay for the fabulous Outback Sky animal show.
Want to participate from home? You can do that too! Our silent auction items will also be posted online, so you can browse and bid even if you can’t attend the event.
To participate in the auction, you’ll need to create an Auctria account. Watch for more information and the auction link as we get closer to the event.
Carnival Admission & Dinner
Ready to make a whole evening of it? Admission for the dinner and activities is just:
$5 per person
$25 maximum per family
Your admission includes our spaghetti dinner buffet, treats, all the carnival fun, and one door-prize ticket per person (up to five tickets per family).
We’ll also have a full selection of raffle baskets available throughout the evening. Raffle tickets for those baskets will be available for purchase separately.

Ways to Get Involved
It’s time once again for Akron Fossils & Science Center’s annual Silent Auction Fundraiser. This year, we are excited to once again gather in person for an evening of dinner, entertainment, and a silent auction—with a twist! Some auction items will also be available online for those who wish to participate from home.
Join us on Saturday, November 7th, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM, for a fun-filled event featuring dinner, entertainment, carnival games, raffles, activities, treats, and more for the whole family to enjoy.
This is our largest fundraising event of the year. We invite you to support us by donating items for the silent auction, such as themed gift baskets, gift cards, certificates, admission tickets, tours, services, or merchandise. Sponsorship and volunteer opportunities are also available.

Your support is essential to keep AFSC flourishing. Donate
Would you consider donating an item to include in our silent auction? Donation ideas include gift cards and certificates, coupons, merchandise, themed gift baskets with various items, vouchers for services, tickets or passes to sporting events, theaters, concerts, museums, and amusement parks and centers or any other tangible items.
