What is the Science Adventure Club?

The Science Adventure Club is an after-school outreach program presented by The Akron Fossils & Science Center. The club focuses on creating fun scientific enrichment for students in the K-8th grade.

Where and when does the club take place?

The club takes place in different schools in the area. It runs throughout the school year with themed sessions consisting of 5 weeks each.

Approximate Schedule:

3pm: Check-in

3pm-3:30pm: Main Lesson & Snack

3:30pm-4:30pm: Learning Stations Built Around the Session’s Theme

What should we expect? Topics to be explored include the sun, moon, stars, constellations, planets, galaxies, and the life of astronauts.
