You Should Know:

  • Campers will visit 4 stations throughout each session:

    • Observe: Lesson time! Campers learn about the topic of the day & take notes in their Camp Journal. The lesson is often followed by a short video & will include discussion topics. This station is for SITTING & LEARNING.

    • Create: Arts & crafts! Campers create a fun, expressive reflection of the week’s topic to be included in their Camp Journal. This station is MESSY. Campers will get their hands wet, sticky, and/or paint-covered!

    • Discover: Anything goes! In the Discover station, Campers may play a game, conduct an experiment, create an extra craft, and meet animals on Wild Wednesdays. This station will get LOUD & MESSY.

    • Snack: Campers receive a boost of energy from a small snack that we provide. Please send a safe snack if your child has specific dietary needs. Your child may also bring a specific snack that they prefer. This station IS NOT LUNCH.

    • Campers will earn Rewards Stamps at each station by participating, completing projects, tidying up after themselves, and going the extra mile to help a peer or Counselor. Stamps are currency at our AFSC Programs Prize Shop!

    • Campers end each morning & afternoon session with an outdoor play period. Morning Play begins at 12:00 pm & Afternoon Play begins at 4:30 pm.

    • During Play rotations, Campers will go outside for play and may also spend their Rewards Stamps. Campers measuring 48” or taller may use this time to ride our Zipline if they have signed up for the Zipline add-on*

      • *Due to increasing operation & insurance costs, beginning in the 2025 Camp season, the Zipline feature will be an ADD-ON OPTION for Camps. The Zipline add-on will cost $10 for up to 3 rides per week, per Camper.

  • Morning pick-up is 12:30 PM.

  • All-Day session Campers must bring a ready-to-eat packed lunch. CAMPERS WILL NOT HAVE ACCESS TO A REFRIGERATOR OR MICROWAVE. Lunch begins at 12:30 pm.

  • Morning Campers staying late for lunch or Afternoon Campers arriving early for lunch will be subject to a Before or After Care charge.

  • Recess (after Lunch) will be the only time Campers may spend “real” money at our Gift Shop. We do advise against sending cash with your Camper, as AFSC is not liable for lost or stolen cash, but we will have Gift Cards available for purchase. Gift Cards may be kept at the Front Desk by AFSC Staff if you prefer.

  • Afternoon drop-off is 1:30 PM.

  • Afternoon & All-Day pick-up is 5:00 PM.

  • Our Camps fill quickly! Spots are first-come, first-served.

  • Please note the description (& disclaimer when applicable) under each Camp theme & register your child with discretion. Refunds are not issued for unfinished Camp weeks.

  • This could get messy! (And LOUD!) Campers should be prepared to get dirty, ooey-gooey, & wet, and should dress accordingly. Popping, buzzing, clapping, & bursting are all sounds Campers can expect to hear at Camp.
